Hi there and welcome to my brand new blog – KeithDuffell.com!
This isn’t my first blog as I have been blogging using tumblr for the past 2 years.
I decided to buy a domain name and some hosting and set up my own blog.
I’ve never been a big blogger so don’t expect regular articles to be written – ill be blogging as and when I feel like it.

First blog post for ages.
I havent blogged much recently (whoopsie!) – really should get round to doing it more oftain.
This is to reasure you readers that I am still alive (apparently) so dont worry.
Ive said it before, so ill say it again – I will try to blog more, hopefully, if I remember.
Hopefully thats lowered your expectations of my blog, so if I do decide to do loads of blogging youll be so shocked and surprised that you will fall of your chair or drop the thing you are holding in your hand right now as your reading this.

My Conservative-Liberal Democrat Government – Cabinet Ministers
Time for my first blog post of 2010 – yes, i know its May!
Well, we’ve had the election, got a Hung parliament and there’s been negotiations between Labour and the Liberal Democrats which are more-or-less dead in the water now, and between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats which appear to be imminentlycoming to a conclusion. Sources say that the Liberal Democrats have been offered 6 positions in the Labour-Liberal Democrat Cabinet.Here’s my cabinet as I think it will be (well part of it anyway):
- Prime Minister – David Cameron
- Deputy Prime Minister – Nick Clegg
- Chancellor of the Exchequer – Vince Cable
- Home Secretary – Chris Hulne
- Transport Secretary – Julie Goldsworthy ?
- The rest will be more or less the same as the Conservative shadow cabinet with the exception of at least one more cabinet position for the Liberal Democrats.
Hopefully my cabinet above is accurate – only time will tell!

#EcoPledge

I recently launched a new online campaign called #EcoPledge.
The idea is that alongside all your New Years Resolutions, you pledge something that you will do to be more green in 2010.
I’ve been following the Copenhagen Conference over the past few weeks, more in detail than I did towards the lead up. We didn’t get the deal that we wanted whilst there, however, I believe that there were some successes. Despite this, there is still a long way to go.
May I commend Ed Miliband MP and his team for negotiating throughout many sleepless nights. Your work is appreciated by many, including smaller developing countries. The High Commissioner of the Maldives even thanked Britain for it’s support throughout at the Copenhagen De-brief on Monday.
So, I ask you all, if you are on Twitter….
Simply use the hash-tag #EcoPledge in your tweet and pledge what you will be doing to be more green in 2010.
